Wow, it's been a really long time since I've done anything here.  That's mostly because a lot of my work recently has been programming and sadly not a whole lot of graphics/design.  I've also been busy with my website: http://www.arcticflare.com and I'm now using that as my primary portfolio.  I've got some things in the works and a couple other odds and ends to post here (hopefully soon, most likely a few today).

Ok. things have been a bit stressful recently with my first quarter at school ending, but now I've got a week off, I've still got plenty to do but no real deadlines or urgent things to do...  It's nice to have the break and it couldn't have come at a better time.  I've submitted a couple more deviations, and there should be more on the way this week as I organize things a bit and add a few touches to some images I've been working on.

Sorry I haven't been able to reply to all the comments I've gotten recently.  I do take them seriously and appreciate the views and comments.  I also try to view your gallery and comment and/or add you to my DeviantWatch list if there's something there that really grabs me.  I've got a lot going on though, so I don't always have as much time as I'd like to respond.  Well- I've got stuff to do (a collage for my design class, I need to watch a movie for my English class, and I'm taking a drive to pick up some stuff for a job).  Hopefully I'll have some more stuff to add by the end of the week.  I might try and shoot a roll of film tonight if I

Thank you for commenting on Roses Are Red Or Are They. This is my first attempt at selective colorization. It was very difficult to do, but I think it turned out pretty well. I'd like to hear your ideas on how to make the colors look more natural, Mark. Hug

hope you have a happy tuesday!!!!!!!!

:D (Big Grin)
Thank you for all the comments! You left many wonderful thoughts and helpful ideas! Very nice of you.
The problem with long exposure work is .... it's hard to tell purposeful blur to uselessly bad crap. I'll play with the idea today at lunch. I'm planning a short photo expedition to a nearby park that has great (but ellusive) diving ducks that I "chase" around. I get about a half hour of shooting in. I think I've figured out the "trick" to quality digiscoping shots. The proof may be posted later this week (if it works).
Have a great day! Rob the Swash
