It's been a while...

Wed Sep 15, 2004, 8:44 AM
Wow, it's been a really long time since I've done anything here. That's mostly because a lot of my work recently has been programming and sadly not a whole lot of graphics/design. I've also been busy with my website: [link] and I'm now using that as my primary portfolio. I've got some things in the works and a couple other odds and ends to post here (hopefully soon, most likely a few today).

Thank you for commenting on Roses Are Red Or Are They. This is my first attempt at selective colorization. It was very difficult to do, but I think it turned out pretty well. I'd like to hear your ideas on how to make the colors look more natural, Mark. Hug

Thank you for all the comments! You left many wonderful thoughts and helpful ideas! Very nice of you.
The problem with long exposure work is .... it's hard to tell purposeful blur to uselessly bad crap. I'll play with the idea today at lunch. I'm planning a short photo expedition to a nearby park that has great (but ellusive) diving ducks that I "chase" around. I get about a half hour of shooting in. I think I've figured out the "trick" to quality digiscoping shots. The proof may be posted later this week (if it works).
Have a great day! Rob the Swash

How goes it, Mark? I haven't heard from you in a couple of days. I loved your recent work. I hope you plan to have more like it.

Sorry my people are being such putzes. They hardly ever comment on my work. Sometimes I wonder why they are watching me.

There are a handful, though, who comment regularly. I am very grateful for them. Without them, no one would comment on my stuff. lol Hug
